HistoryHub.live is an adaptive learning platform for UK secondary school students. We are the data controller for personal data collected through this site.
Account data — name, year group, school, and email address, provided when your account is created. Used to personalise your learning and allow teachers to monitor progress.
Learning data — answers, scores, and mastery progress. Used to adapt content to your level and track your development over time.
Analytics data — anonymised usage data collected via Google Analytics (page views, session duration, device type). Used to understand how the platform is used and improve it. Collected only with your consent.
Account and learning data are processed on the basis of legitimate interests (delivering the educational service). Analytics cookies are set only with your consent.
We do not sell your data or share it with third parties for marketing. Analytics data is processed by Google LLC under the UK-US Data Bridge framework. No other international transfers occur.
Student data is kept for the duration of your school's subscription plus one academic year, then deleted.
Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, or delete your data, to restrict or object to processing, and to data portability. You may also lodge a complaint with the ICO. To exercise any right, contact your school administrator or email us.
